How it works

Your baseboard heater is already producing heat. HearthSteam sits directly on your electric baseboard heating unit, where that warmth heats the water inside. Natural evaporation gradually releases moisture into the surrounding air.

It takes the familiar idea of placing a pot of water on a wood stove and adapts it for hot-water baseboard heating, without a fan, pump, or electric heating element.

During cold winter months, indoor air can feel uncomfortably dry. HearthSteam offers a simple way to add moisture while your heating system runs, without the sound or replacement parts of a powered humidifier.
